Sarah Silverman on state voter identification laws

In order to combat voter fraud, many states have instituted draconian measures.  At what point does it become voter suppression?

It would all be easier if you actually had a national I.D. card in the US...And the video is funny to a point, but I think gratuitous cursing is not so funny anymore (and neither is talikng about infections, yuck!).

But regardless, I see the point. The iniciative does seem suspicious and unfair, mostly because I can't believe electoral fraud can be that widespread or relevant in the modern United States, right?
