All You Can Eat Buffets In Britain: Obesity, Recession, Gluttony

Speaking of portion control*, there was a great story earlier this week on DW-TV's European Journal about the proliferation of Taybarns restaurants in Britain, which is patterned after the Golden Corral chain in America. The story focuses on how dozens of these franchises are opening in economically depressed towns where cash-poor families are desperate for bargains and a night out. It has not been uploaded onto Youtube yet, but here is a similar story that played on BBC News a few weeks ago.

This is a you tube clip I uploaded of me interviewing the German tv crew as they were filming in Taybarns.
